Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor are set to star in an upcoming Hindi film titled Kismat Talkies. Kismat Talkies will mark the debut of Javed Akhtar’s daughter and Farhan Akhtar’s sister Zoya Akhtar as a director.

The film’s score and soundtrack will be composed by the acclaimed musical trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.

The film will also mark the comeback of Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor who have earlier worked in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Yaadein, Mujhe Dosti Karoge and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon.

The film is based on a romantic plot. After playing a double role in his debut Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, Hrithik Roshan will be seen in yet another double role in Kismat Talkies. The story revolves around the confusion that is created due to the double role of the protagonist. Hrithik plays a model in the film. He is in complete awe of Priyanka Chopra. He even goes on to express his love for her but later on confusion infuses in the plot due to the love story that revolves around the look alike of Hrithik and Kareena Kapoor, a hooker.

Cinematography for the movie is handled by Ravi K. Chandran whilst editing is handled by A. Sreekar Prasad.
