Mangalore, Thursday 13 November 2008: Three members of a Malayalee family who went for pilgrimage from Mumbai died at an accident in Mangalore when the car in which they were travelling collided with a truck. The three of them died in the spot.
The accident was happened near Holegedde near Kumda around 7.45 pm on Wednesday. Those who were traveling in the car are Unnikrishnan, Nair (40), Mohandas Nair (37), their wives Sunitha Unnikrishanan,(28), Lathika Mohandas (32) son Savin Unnikrishnan (4) and daughters of Mohandas Anusree Mohandas (4) and Aiswarya Mohandas (8). Among them Unnikrishnan Nair, Savin Unnikrishanan and Anusree Mohandas died in the spot.
Unnikrishnan who was working in Dubai came to India to go for Sabarimala. They belong to Unniyankadath family in Ottappalam, Palakkad and are settled in Mumbai.
