Sabarkantha, Monday, September 29, 2008: Two low intensity blasts rocked Gujarat and Maharashtra towns on Monday night. A powerful bomb exploded killing one person and injuring five others in Sabarkantha in Gujarat, according to police sources two men came on a motorcycle and threw the bomb at the Suka market in Modasa.
Three people were dead and seven injured in Malegaon, Maharashtra The low-intensity blasts resembled the explosion in Delhi’s Mehrauli area on Saturday, officials said.
According to initial reports, crude bombs were used in the two blasts.
The blast has occurred ahead of the nine-day Navratari celebrations starting from Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, seventeen crude bombs were found near the Kalupur Darvaza of Ahmedabad. The bombs found were not sophisticated devices but crude explosives.

Terrorism: “an act, done or to be done, in furtherence of no expressed lawfull demand, which have terror implications in the minds of the public.
