Beijing, Sunday, November 16, 2008: 11 people were killed and 39 injured when a speeding bus overturned on an expressway in northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, state media reported. Officials said the bus, carrying 50 passengers, was travelling at 130 kilometres per hour when it crashed on Saturday afternoon, news agency said.
China’s roads are among the most dangerous in the world and bus drivers routinely cram passengers into their vehicles to get as much business as they can in one trip.
