Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, December 01, 2008: Taking charge as the new DGP of Kerala, former Vigilance Director Jacob Punnoose said, it will be brought to Centre’s notice that Kerala also require a new wing of NSG force to combat terrorist attack like that of Mumbai, as Kerala has also become a breeding ground for terror and terror related activities.
DGP also said, security will be assured to personalities and institutions. Jacob Punnoose, replaces Raman Srivastava who has been posted as Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
