Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, November 11, 2008: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan has convened a meeting with the IT chiefs on November 13th.
As the global financial and economic crisis shows no signs of an immediate respite, and the effects of the global financial and economic crisis has already had its toll on the information technology (IT) sector in Kerala, with pink slips being issued to a dozen employees of IBS Software Services the meeting holds significance.
The Kerala government is all set to spruce up, remain alert and tighten its belt to combat the situation.
The meeting would take place at the Chief Minister’s chamber at 9:30 in the morning.
