Dubai, Friday, November 14, 2008: A Malayalee was killed when a civilian cargo aircraft crashed in western Iraq on Thursday, killing all seven people on board, The plane was operated by a company called Falcon Aviation Group Ltd. Which is a Dubai-based firm operating cargo flights in the Gulf region and was carrying FedEx cargo.

The Ukrainian-built AN-12 plane crashed shortly after takeoff. The person dead has been identified as Thiruvananthapuram, Manacadu native Jayachandran.
