Patna, Monday 03 November 2008: The government-opposition unity over violent attacks on Biharis in Maharashtra on Sunday appeared phoney with RJD President Lalu Prasad demanding resignation of all MPs and legislators from Bihar, but his beten oire Chief Minister Nitish Kumar declared it would not serve any purpose.
Lalu’s assertion that all his party MPs and legislators would quit by November 15.
“We, the Biharis, are the victims of jingoism of Raj Thackeray’s MNS, but Lalu Prasad is seeking resignation of our MPs and MLAs. Such a situation will precipitate an election to the Bihar assembly. It is surprising that the man, who is seeking central rule in Maharashtra will end up bringing Bihar under President’s Rule.”
