New Delhi, Friday 21 November 2008: National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and the chief of Intelligence Bureau, PC Haldar will meet Leader of Opposition L K Advani on Friday to brief him on the developments in the ongoing Malegaon blast investigations.
According to reports, the meeting will take place at noon and comes a day after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh discussed the matter with Advani.
Today’s meeting holds significance in the wake of reports that Manmohan Singh is upset over the excessive politicisation of the issue by the saffron brigade.
The P M is learnt to have expressed his displeasure over the same during his telephonic conversation with the Leader of Opposition yesterday.
Prime Minister has assured the veteran BJP leader that the NSA Narayanan would “explain all the facts” of the Malegaon blast probe to him.
The Prime Minister has also urged the main opposition party to allow the law to take its course and put behind bars all those responsible for the incident irrespective of their ideology and political affiliation.
