Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, 2 September: The Rapid Action Force (RAF) will be deployed at the Kerala hill shrine of Sabarimala during the two-month festive season to ensure security, informed Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. The force will be stationed here from November 15th to January 20th the action comes after the report submitted by Intelligence Chief Sibi Mathews which has warns of terrorist attack or communal disharmony which may erupt here .The two-month festival season begins in mid November this year. The temple is visited by millions of pilgrims from south Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

This is a good move by the Central and State Government keeping in view the recent terror strikes by the anti social elements
