Thodupuzha, Thursday 20 November 2008:The accused must get the punishment they deserve, said Abhayas father Thomas after the CBI had arrested three accused in the sensational Sister Abhaya murder case.
`I will get assurance only after producing the accused in the court. He extended his gratitude to Adv A X Varghese who extended all his support through out the struggle in these 16 years.
He said that he is ready to go the Supreme Court to have justice.

I agree with Abhaya’s father. I want the accused priests and nun to be hanged to death. Because they came at night to a CONVENT to do prostitution and then killed that poor nun as violently as I could ever imagine. Just thinking of the parents’ struggles without their precious child will leave anyone heartbroken!!!!
lets all hope that Abhaya’s parents get the justice till the end.Because what may happen is CBI just go on with the case arresting the so called ‘innocent’ clergymen,making an end to the case and after the trial these culprits may be acquitted for not enough ‘evidences’.Chances are high that they get freed from the higher courts because the ‘honest & innocent knanaya church believes money and power are better than truth and justice.Ultimately everybody will be happy ever after(media got feast,CBI regained their esteem,church will get holy hardships,public sighs with satisfaction) EXCEPT ABHAYA’S PARENTS.Lets pray for them..
Prime suspects were arrested and kept under the custody of CBI for further interrogation. Lets see how truth wins. Accussed no.1 is notorious in BCM womens college where he was a prof in psychology. He was know in the college “Unneeso achan” since his face looks innocent. Noone will believe that Fr. Kottoor, accussed no.1, has got doctorate in “Moral Theology” from Rome. Today we heard that some prono leturature was found in his room in the Bishop’s house while CBI seach was going on. Knanaya dioces should take action against the 3 accussed right away instead of reading “Idaya LEKHANAM”. Dioces still believes that public are fools and they can hide the facts from everyone for ever. Here God’s had worked. Dioces could have taken this attitude if they wrote atleast 2 lines about the murder at that time. Since Abhaya was a nun under this dioces they had the minimum responsibility to protect her and save her life.
If this is the attitude of dioces how will send our children to BCM college or its hostel?
Todays ‘pastoral letter’ asked the people to pray for the two priests and the nun arrested last week by the CBI for the murder of Sister Abhaya who belonged to the same church. Why should we do that? Arch Bishop wants people to pray for criminals? If that is the openion of the Bishop how he differes from these 3. Convents shouldnt be brothels. There is a divinity for it. I heard from an old resident of the hostel that students are not allowed to come down to kitchen after 10 pm where Sephy used to sleep next to that. While Cochin Bishop adopted a girl and one priest from Manarkadu was cought in molesting, both were ousted from their positions. There diocese saved their face by taking such actions. Here Knanaya Sabha is upholding the crimes done by their pasters and nun.
No matter how much you try nothing will happen. Money is very powerful and it can buy anything. we live in a corrupt society and money can influence anything. SC lawyers are on their way to represent the murderers . This people will be found innocent.
